Who we are

Seconded is operated by I-Sixty Group (registration 2005/033769/07). When an organisation uses Secondedto run its meetings, that organisation (a body corporate, company, trust or association) is the responsible party for its members' information, and we process it on its behalf as an operator under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). For our own customers' account and billing details, we are the responsible party.

What we collect

  • Account details: your name, email address and the organisations you belong to.
  • Meeting records your organisation loads or creates: member names, email addresses, voting weights, standing (such as arrears), proxies, attendance, votes and minutes.
  • Payment records: what was bought and when. Card details are handled by PayFast and never reach us.
  • Technical information needed to keep the service secure, such as sign-in times and IP addresses.

Why we use it

To run meetings as the law and your organisation's rules require, to keep the statutory record of what was decided, to send invitations and notices, to take payment, and to protect the service. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.

Sales partners

If you came to us through an i60 sales partner, we record the partner's code against your account and share your company name, contact email and payments with i60's partner programme to pay their commission.

Cookies

We use only cookies the service needs: one to keep you signed in, one to remember your theme, and one that remembers which sales partner referred you, if any. None are used for advertising or tracking across other sites.

Who else processes it

Our hosting, email and payment providers process information for us under written agreements, only to provide their service. Votes and minutes are visible to your organisation's administrators as part of the meeting record; how a member voted is never shown to other members.

How long we keep it

Meeting records are part of your organisation's statutory record and are kept for as long as it needs them, or as the law requires. Account information is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed.

Your rights

You may ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to its use. For information held on behalf of your organisation, we will pass your request to it. Write to support@isixty.co.za. You may also complain to the Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za).
